Information for Out-of-Town Patients

Treatment at the “Naujas regėjimas” clinic (Vilnius, Lithuania) is organized in a “one-day” format. The use of modern ophthalmic microsurgery technologies helps speed up visual recovery, reduce the overall duration of treatment, avoid hospitalization, and, as a rule, return to your place of residence within 1–2 hours after the procedure or surgery.

You will need to stay in Vilnius for:

• vision laser correction: 1 day; on the second day, a follow-up examination is available upon the patient’s request;
• cataract surgery: at least 1–3 days;
• laser retinal procedures: 1 day;
• a course of conservative (non-surgical) or device-based treatment: as prescribed by the physician.

Within the timeframes indicated above, you will undergo a comprehensive eye examination, pre-procedure preparation, calculation of the correction plan or selection of intraocular lens parameters, and a pre-operative assessment (if laboratory tests are required, the patient may complete them at their place of residence). The procedure or surgery itself will then be performed, followed by mandatory follow-up examinations. The subsequent schedule of observation is determined individually by the physician, taking into account the clinical situation and the dynamics of recovery.
