After observing vision correction clinics, I decided to contact the medical center New Vision. After the examination, I was recommended to undergo an intermediate retinal strengthening procedure. A week later, I returned for laser correction. On the day of surgery, from arrival to the procedure itself, I had to wait a couple of hours at the clinic. The surgery lasted only a few minutes and was painless. Three to four hours later, discomfort appeared in my eyes: a foreign body sensation, tearing, and photophobia. However, by the evening these symptoms began to subside, and I realized that I could see just as well as with contact lenses, but without them. The staff of New Vision is friendly, professional, and efficient.

Cataract treatment usually sounds scary, but here everything is organized in a way that takes the anxiety away. During diagnostics they clearly explained why my vision got worse and why lens replacement was necessary. The phacoemulsification was stress-free, and after the cataract removal it became easier to focus both at distance and up close. I appreciated the cleanliness and organization—and the fact that follow-ups are not just “for show,” but truly detail-oriented.

It’s rare to see such a consistent approach: diagnostics first, then discussing options, then preparation and cataract surgery. At every stage I felt safe and in control. After the lens replacement my vision became “clean,” and the feeling of looking through dirty glass disappeared. I liked the service and calm communication at the eye clinic in Vilnius. The drop schedule and recovery guidance were written so clearly that it’s impossible to get confused.

I liked that the clinic didn’t stick to generic explanations—they clarified the differences between IOL types and what fits my usual lifestyle best. The cataract surgery was quick and calm, and I understood what was happening at every step. After the IOL implantation, the “yellow tint” and haze disappeared, and colors became brighter. Another big plus was the attentive staff: reminders about drops, careful checkups, and clear recovery guidance.
