Vision correction without increasing corneal temperature
Cold laser vision correction iQ-LASIK Oxygen 3D is performed using the new ophthalmic laser LaserSoft, developed by German scientists, which fully justifies its name. The effect of the laser on the cornea of the human eye is extremely gentle, precise and sensitive. The use of this device has opened new perspectives for even better laser vision correction.
The mark of the new laser is almost 3-4 times smaller, forming an area of 0.2 mm in diameter, and the operating speed is ten times higher than that of a standard excimer laser. This means that the duration of the laser eye correction procedure is reduced tenfold, though its accuracy is greatly increased. LaserSoft has a laser wavelength of 210 nm, which makes the new correction technology significantly superior compared to excimer lasers with a wavelength of 193 nm. In addition, the new laser does not react with water molecules. So LaserSoft radiation is not attenuated and works exactly where it is needed, according to the set parameters. As a result, surgeons now can create corrected nomograms, maximizing the level of accuracy of the vision correction procedure.
