Glasses for drivers

Laser vision correction
People who are skeptical about specialized glasses for drivers (believing that ordinary sunglasses are enough while driving) most likely have never tried those special glasses.
Thanks to a special coating, glasses designed for drivers help avoid excessive eye strain while driving, enhance image contrast and accuracy. Such glasses activate eye cells, including those sensitive to light, slow down the aging process of these cells, and block ultraviolet rays harmful to the eyes.
According to their purpose, two main types of glasses for drivers can be distinguished: glasses worn during daylight hours with a special anti-glare coating, and glasses worn at night or in poor weather conditions.
Anti-glare glasses (including glasses with anti-reflective coating, polarized glasses, and sunglasses) are usually intended for daytime use. They reflect sunlight, glare from wet asphalt, all water surfaces, any glass, oncoming cars, and other shiny objects, and protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation. This effect is based on the fact that these glasses have polarized lenses, where reflected light rays scatter and are not focused by the eyes. In addition, these glasses help relax the eye muscles and protect vision.
Glasses designed to be worn at night and in poor weather conditions (rain, snow, fog) have lenses that block the violet-blue part of the light spectrum, which makes it difficult to focus the gaze on objects. For this reason, the lenses of such glasses are red, yellow, or orange. These glasses increase image contrast and clarity during poor visibility, improve color perception, and reduce visual fatigue. Glasses worn in darkness and bad weather significantly reduce the intense and dazzling light from oncoming car headlights.
In addition, glasses for drivers can be either optical (for vision correction) or non-optical (for preventing visual fatigue).
Wearing glasses intended for drivers does not mean you do not need to do eye exercises and allow your eyes to rest every hour. Also, do not forget about vitamins that help improve vision.
