Eye exam
Yoga is a unique teaching of ancient Indian philosophy, and its regular practice can restore weakened human health. The benefit of yoga exercises for improving visual function has been proven in practice. Vision yoga can be practiced at any age and can achieve significant results in improving visual function. It is important to perform vision yoga exercises regularly and consistently, as well as follow the recommendations of specialists.
How can yoga exercises be adapted for the eyes? Exercises for improving visual function include: relaxation; a healthy lifestyle; limited strain on the eyes when working at a computer or watching television; the ability to shift attention elsewhere, alternating visual strain with rest; training of the eye muscles.
Yoga offers eye exercises that are beneficial for visual function because they strengthen the ability to concentrate attention.
Exercises for the eye muscles include: various eye rotations (rolling); focusing the gaze on a nearby object and then on a distant one; eye massage; frequent blinking; fixing the gaze while looking at a candle flame; a color exercise in which one needs to look for 15 minutes at a black, blue, or green circle with a diameter of 2 cm, positioned at eye level at a distance of one and a half meters from the eyes.
A mandatory condition when performing eye yoga exercises is relaxation, a comfortable posture, concentration of thoughts on improving vision, and even breathing.
It is worth trying to spend 30 minutes daily on eye yoga to once again feel the full pleasure of visual clarity!
